GreenLifeIOP successfully renews 3-year accreditation with CARF

We successfully passed our 3-year renewal accreditation audit by CARF today. CARF stands for Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. CARF is a not-for-profit organization that accredits rehabilitation programs with some of the following services: Adult day services. Assisted living and Behavioral health services, including substance abuse and addiction treatment facilities. CARF accreditation signals a provider's commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community.

We are immensely proud of the work we do at GreenLifeIOP every day. Our mission is to help people who are struggling and who are at a vulnerable time in their lives. The addiction treatment industry has not always had the best reputation of caring, but we are committed to changing that. We take continuous improvement very seriously. We strive to give every one of our clients the best possible care and the best possible chance of living a positive, productive life free of drug addiction, alcoholism, and other substance abuse issues.

It was beyond motivating to hear that CARF agrees with us! And not only agrees, we received so many compliments that they were too many to repeat. However, my favorite one was this: "It is very rare to find an organization that is as perfect as you are". While there is always room for further improvement, we are grateful that our work is being recognized.

At best, an accreditation process can be rewarding and motivating. Kudos to CARF for helping to improve the facilities you serve through your accreditation process!
